They say an invisible red string connects those who are destined to meet. For us, that string was woven through the hallways of our school. We shared the same campus for years, yet we were two strangers existing in parallel, never sharing a word, but always connected by a quiet thread.

It took the magic of New York City and the steps of Columbia University for the universe to finally pull that string tight. Thousands of miles from home, our paths finally crossed. We went from schoolmates who never spoke to soulmates who couldn't stop.

Since then, we've built a life defined by too many late-night movies and endless video game competitions. From weekend brunches in NYC to supporting each other through mastering the recipe for the perfect rajma (after a few failed attempts), every step has led us here.

On July 13th, 2026, we're finally tying the knot at the end of that long, invisible string.
